Here we are at the Wiggle's Concert! We had such a great time. Brandon did go too, but he sat with Max (the boy I baby-sit). Greg was sick so Sam filled in for him. He did great. We were able to see Wags, Dorothy, and Captian Feathersword. They even had the Big Red Car with them. I think I had just as much fun as the boys if not more. It was great. We had great seats too. The boys want to go again. We will have to see if they come to town again. This is the 14th year for them here in the US. 15th for them in Australia so we will see.

I am not sure what happened. I guess I pressed enter one to may times and my post was posted before I was finished. Oh well. I will someday get all of this down so I don't have all this trouble. Maybe it is too early for me and I haven't had any of my coffee yet. I better get on that right now.

Once again I had to spend some time at Children's Hospital. This time Brad was at work and wasn't able to go with me. The all of the boys were being HYPER and Andrew ended up falling of the landing of the stairs and busted his chin open. He had to get 3 little blue "whiskers". THat is what we are calling it to help him deal with it. I was very proud of him. He was so brave, so was I, and that is a frist. Maybe it was because there wasn't that much blood. I don't handle blood very well at all. The nurse and doctor we had were great. Andrew didn't want to talk to them but at least he wasn't screaming. On the way there he was getting a bit upset about going. We were talking about what would happen and asked me if he was going to have to get a cast. I am sure that aften seeing Zack for 5 weeks in that terrible cast put a little fear in him.

A good friend of mine gave us this great double stroller. Zachary wanted to sit in it every chance he had. It was like his new toy. He pretty much stayed in a stroller the entire 5 weeks he was in his cast. It was the easiest way to keep him sitting up and it was easier to move him from room to room. That cast was very heavy.

Hello All!
I am sure some of you are wondering how Zachary's doctor's appointment went. Well, the doctor said his leg looks good. He was able to get his cast off. That was a job. The tech had a hard time because the cast was put on very thick, but he got it off. Zachary did not like it one bit. It was terrible. The doctor said for us to expect him to walk funny for up to three months. He is not walking by himself but he will walk with someone holding his hands and he does walk around the furniture. I am sure it won't be too much longer before he is up and moving. The doctor doesn't need to see him back for one year and that is to check his leg length, unless we think there is a problem of course.

Well, as most of you know by now, Zack broke his leg. We are not exactly sure how, I was on the phone when it happened and I did not see it. I could only assume that he either fell off the arm of the sofa or he some how fell of his radio flyer ride toy. I just know that all of a sudden he was face down on the floor by the sofa and toy crying. I dropped the phone to go get him and he was holding his leg screaming. We took him to Children's hospital out patient and they took x-rays to find that he has a spiral fracture on his femur. They were unable to treat him there so they called Children's in Cincinnati to send an ambulance to pick him up. So I rode with Zachary and Brad met us there. Zack then had a hip spica cast put on and he had to spend the night there. I think Zachary has "white coat syndrome" every time someone came in the room he would get upset. We are now home and everyday it is getting easier. We are learning how to move him around and prop him up. I have made a spot at the kitchen table so he can eat at the table with us. He is much higher then the table so we have to help him. I would like to try to find one of those trays that have the legs that fold under it so we can maybe make things easier for him to reach while he is eating and playing. If I get a chance to get out I will try to look for one. I haven�t seen one of those in a long time. Wish me luck!

Zachary has an appointment with his Orthopedic doctor on the 8th. We will see how things go there.

We survived our second week of swim lessons! Zack did great! He really likes the water. I even let him go under water when he jumped in the pool and he did great!
Andrew did a lot better this time. He was much braver I am so proud of him. He let me hold on to him instead of him having the death grip on my neck. I can't wait for next week. I hope that we are able to go swimming before then so we can practice.

We joined the local Y in our area in February this year. I finally decided to start working out. I made an appointment with a trainer to get set up on the machines. I had my appointment on Wednesday. It went well, I guess. It seems like I may have troubles finding the time to work out I was hoping that I could go and put the boys in the child watch while I work out. We tried that the night of my appointment Brandon of course did well. Andrew and Zack on the other hand did not. I don't know how long they were in there but one of the workers came out looking for us. She said once Andrew stopped crying Zachary started. We will see how it goes with them. I hope that we can work around Brad's work and sleep schedule so I can get my work outs in, but with him sleeping until 4-5 pm that makes it very hard. I don't know what will happen when school starts and I start baby-sitting on top of that. We will see. I will just have to try to stay focused on it.

I also signed Zachary and Andrew up for swim lessons. I signed them up for the morning classes in hope that the others will stay in the child watch. One has class on Monday and the other on Wednesday. After the other night it doesn't look good. The classes are for 30 minutes so hopefully we can get them in before they come and hunt us down. We will see. I may have to find a someone they know to keep them. We will see on Monday.

It has been a while since I posted. Let me think what all has happened.

Well, my computer crashed on me. I do believe that is why I haven’t posted on any of my blogs. I was and still am very upset about all of that. For the longest time I had to TRY to share Brad’s computer with him. Not fun! Then he finally got a new hard drive for my computer right before he left out of town for 2 weeks. So I had to start all over again. I was not a happy camper. Oh well. He did go and order a back up. I guess he doesn’t want the same thing to happen to him. To lose everything you have on your computer just totally stinks. Anyway, nothing we can do about it now.

Brad went to New Hampshire for work. He left on the 5th and came home the 17th. So the boys and I were living it up. We went to see Cars with Grandma & Grandpa W. That was fun. I was really surprised on how well Zachary did. He sat through a lot of it before he started to get restless. At first I thought he was going to fall asleep. I think there were a few loud parts that kept him from doing so. All in all it was a good afternoon.

We of course had baseball game after baseball game. Brandon participated in 2 tournaments. One was the Butler County Classic which they had a great start. All the teams were to start by playing 3 games. They were one of three teams that won all three games in that bracket. Go Green Machines! Then they played against a tough team and our boys were having a bit of trouble fielding and they lost. 
This week they started the FYBA tournament. They won their first game but lost the second. I think the boys would have done better if they did not have so many rain outs this season. They had 8 games that were rained out, and were only able to make up one. So, they really didn’t get the practice that they needed. Oh well, we will see how it goes next year. He will be in kid pitch next year. That will be interesting.

Andrew participated in Safety Town this week. I was kind of worried on how he would do. I asked my friend Michelle if she wanted to sign her daughter up so they could be in the same class, that way it would make it easier for both of them. Every morning Andrew would get all upset and he tell me that he did not want to go. When I would leave him he would scream and cry too. He did not cry for long, but he would not really participate. On Wednesday they took a trip to the Firehouse on a school bus. They were able to go inside the smoke house.(Andrew didn’t) There taught them how to get out of the house by going down the ladder then one child had to call 911 on the phone outside. It was pretty neat. Then a firefighter showed the children how he put on his gear, so that if they were in a fire that they would not get scared when they seen one. They also were able to turn on the fire hose. Andrew did do that for a second. A lot of the children played in the water. That was fun to watch too. When I get the pictures on the computer I will post some. Today Andrew did not cry when I left him there and he went to the cars and drove around the town. I was so proud of him! They gave everyone a shirt today to wear tomorrow when he gets his certificate. I am excited about that. I will post pictures of that too.
